Knochengorroch World Ceilidh

The opening fiesta of the Scottish Summer music season is brought to you as Knockengorroch's World Ceilidh 2009. The three day event features Celtic and World Music acts set in a natural amphitheatre in the South West of Scotland. Characterized as a true grassroots affair, the festival is for those with a passion for music, performance and dance. Knockengorroch celebrates the music of the hills and the people of the community, promoting Scottish tradition and culture as well as ethnic diversity and fusion.
Acts for 2009: The Orb, Roni Size with MC Jakes, Orkestra Del Sol, Errol Lintons Blues Vibe, Terrafolk, Mugo's Hi-Fi, Skerryvore, Michael Marra and heaps more.
